San Nicola is from Parma as… The Palazzo Ducale of the Giardino<\/strong>
\n“Commissioned by Ottavio Farnese to Jacopo Barozzi (known as Vignola) in the second half of the 1500s, the Palazzo Ducale of the Giardino in Parma<\/strong> is another monumental structure of the city that reflects its distinctive characteristics.”
\nUnmistakable is the color\u2026 Parma<\/strong> Yellow, a distinctive characteristic of many buildings in the city. Not everyone knows that inside, there are frescoes depicting scenes from the Orlando Furioso painted by Jacopo Bertoia.
\nExternally, one can observe the hand and thought of Ennemond Petitot, who modified its facade according to the tastes of his time. It is now home to the Parma Carabinieri Command and RIS.
