On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi’s birth, a bench with a statue of the Maestro was created by the artist Sergio Brizzolesi and placed in the city thanks to the Association of the Promoting Committee for the Verdi Sculpture; giving thousands of tourists and enthusiasts the chance to sit next to the great composer and take a photo with him!

Not a mere memorial, therefore, but a representation that has become an active and integral part of Parma!

The sculpture, which weighs almost 400 kilos, is located in Piazzale San Francesco, opposite the Casa della Musica.
