Turmeric and Cumin Breadsticks Recipe.
Dissolve 15 g fresh brewer’s yeast and one tablespoon honey, in 280 ml warm water. Add 500 g of 00 flour, two teaspoons of turmeric and two tablespoons of cumin. Now it is necessary to knead until a soft, elastic dough has formed. Last, add 8 g of salt. Let the dough rise two hours covered with plastic wrap. After the rising time has elapsed, take the loaf and try to roll it out with your hands to give it a rectangular shape. At this point, using a pastry wheel, cut strips of dough about 1.5 cm thick. Separate slightly and set aside to rise for another hour. Our breadsticks will be ready to bake when they have doubled in volume. To make them even tastier, brush them with an emulsion of water oil and salt before baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 220° for 30 minutes. If you want crispier, more fragrant turmeric and cumin breadsticks, leave them in the oven 5 minutes longer in fan mode.
