There truly is pizza for every taste! For this reason, we thought of offering you the recipe for homemade pizza dough! A simple recipe made with a few ingredients, not forgetting San Nicola Ham.

Flour 500 gr
Room temperature water 300 ml
Extra virgin olive oil 35 gr
Fine salt 10 gr
Fresh brewer’s yeast 5 gr (or 2 gr of dried brewer’s yeast)

To garnish:
3/4 slices of San Nicola Ham
shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano
Arugula

Knead everything by hand or with a mixer at medium-low speed
Pour the yeast into the room temperature water first and dissolve it well
Place the flour in a bowl, then pour in the oil, salt, and the water little by little while kneading with your hands until you get a homogeneous mixture
Roll out the dough on the work surface and work it with your hands until it becomes smooth and homogeneous.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a turned-off oven with the light on for about 2/3 hours, until it doubles in size.
Spread the dough in a well-oiled pizza pan and let it rest for another half an hour.
Prepare the toppings for the pizza: diced mozzarella and tomato sauce; sprinkle and distribute them well on the pizza, then bake for 15/20 minutes at 200°/250°.
Once our pizza is cooked, garnish it with San Nicola Ham, Parmesan shavings, and rocket/arugula.
