We owe the invention of pink sauce to a Nobel Prize winner: Luis Federico Leloir. The young chemist, tired of eating shellfish with mayonnaise, asked the waiter to bring all the food they had available in the club. He made from it a new pink-colored sauce that he initially called Golf Sauce and today is also called Cocktail Sauce.
