San Nicola PDO Artisanal Bacon in bland bread, hot sauce, hard-boiled egg and fresh spinach.
Ingredients for hot sauce:
– Tomato paste (one tube)
– One tablespoon of sugar
– 7 g of salt
– Two tablespoons of evo oil
– Two tablespoons of white wine vinegar
– Two chilies (choose whichever you prefer depending on the spiciness you want to attribute to the sauce)
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan on the stove and continue stirring until all ingredients have blended and until the sauce comes close to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Assembly:
– Cut the bread in half
– Lay slices of San Nicola PDO Bacon on the bread.
– Cut and spread the egg slices on the bacon
– Add a few teaspoons of spicy red sauce and fresh spinach leaves
– Close the “Mio Messico” sandwich and taste!
