The bell tower of Parma Cathedral is one of the historically most significant buildings in the city. Built in Romanesque style at the end of the 13th century, it rises to a height of 63 meters, supporting a replica of the Golden Angel, also a symbol of the square and the city. Above the clock, among the trefoils that adorn the upper part of the bell tower, you can catch a glimpse of the six bells that ring for the people of Parma in B-flat major: Bajon, Vecchia, Ugolina, Zafferana, Quinta, Nongentesima. They are the creators of the bell concert that can be appreciated on Parmesan days in the city center.
