San Nicola is from Parma as…San Donnino
The Cathedral of San Donnino is located in Fidenza and dates back to the 12th century.
In Romanesque style, the facade is covered with marble and sandstone and includes three doors: the two side entrances are called “the Door of Life” and “the Door of Death”, while the central door is larger and on its front part there is a depiction of the life of San Donnino, who is also the patron saint of the city.
